    Yes! 50 photos is more than enough to create something deeply meaningful. The Blueprint will walk you through each season of life and tell you exactly how many and the types of photos you need for each season. The template is designed for exactly 50 photos, but it is customizable if you want to add more. I challenge you, however, to trust the process. The fewer the photos, the more meaning each one brings.

  • What if I don’t know what to write?

    The Blueprint makes captioning your photos so easy. Instead of writing long stories, you'll be guided to add short, meaningful captions. We provide a short video, tips, and a clear formula to guide you. You don't need to be a writer, you just need to capture a few thoughts about each moment.

  • Does this include a printed book?

    It does not, however, it includes everything but the printed album, from the workbook that helps you select your photos and write captions, to a design template that helps you create the album. Once you've created the album, you can either use a printer of your choice, or print with one of our trusted 'go-to' printers.

  • Do I need to know how to use Canva or have design experience? Is Canva free?

    You don't need to know how to use Canva or have design experience. Canva is fairly intuitive once you learn the basics. This template is designed to be simple and easy to use, even if you’ve never created a project like this before. You simply import your photos into Canva, then drag and drop them into the template. Your captions can be copied and pasted from the workbook. Once it's complete, you download the pages from Canva and upload them to your printer of choice. This template works with Canva's free account.

  • What if I need help with the design and printing of the album?

    We are happy to help! Capture Your Photos offers Design and Print services for The Story of Us album. Information on these services can be found on our website at https://www.captureyourphotos.com/share. Once you complete the Blueprint, if you decide you want us to do the design and printing, you just let us know.   • What if I just want a digital copy of the album?

    No problem. You can just download the pages of the album and save the digital version. Even if you print the album, I recommend also storing the digital version somewhere safe. There's something special about sitting together with a printed album, but a digital version is a flexible, easily shareable option. Don't forget to back it up so your story is protected for future generations.
