Turn 50 photos into a meaningful family legacy album - without the overwhelm
Turn 50 photos into a meaningful family legacy album - without the overwhelm
Where do you begin? What do you include? How do you make sense of a lifetime of moments?
So the stories stay untold and the memories that matter most get pushed to "someday".
Not because you don’t care.
Not because the memories aren’t important.
But because the process feels hard.
Maybe you’ve told yourself:
I should sort through everything first.
I need more time.
I have to write it perfectly.
Too many photos. Too many years. Too many decisions.

The Story of Us Blueprint removes the overwhelm by giving you a clear, guided starting point. Instead of asking you to write an entire life story over a long period of time, or sort through decades of photos, it leads you through a process that feels manageable, meaningful, and even enjoyable.
You don’t need to organize everything. You don’t need more time. You don’t need to write it perfectly.
You need 50 photos.
The Blueprint walks you through the seasons of life, guiding you toward the types of photos that best tell your story. You'll choose photos that reflect...
The structure does the heavy lifting so you can focus on what matters: the moments, the meaning, and the people you love.
And before you realize it, those 50 photos have become something beautiful, a story your family will cherish for generations.

You've got questions, we've got answers
Yes! 50 photos is more than enough to create something deeply meaningful. The Blueprint will walk you through each season of life and tell you exactly how many and the types of photos you need for each season. The template is designed for exactly 50 photos, but it is customizable if you want to add more. I challenge you, however, to trust the process. The fewer the photos, the more meaning each one brings.
The Blueprint makes captioning your photos so easy. This structure is focused on short, simple, and meaningful. We provide you with a video and tips, including a formula for how and what to include in your headers and captions.
It does not, however, it includes everything but the printed album, from the workbook that helps you select your photos and write captions, to a design template that helps you create the album. Once you've created the album, you can either use a printer of your choice, or one of our trusted 'go-to' printers.
No. Canva is fairly intuitive once you learn the basics. This template is designed to be simple and easy to use, even if you’ve never created a project like this before. You simply import your photos into Canva, then drag and drop them into the template. Your captions can be copied and pasted from the workbook. Once it's complete, you download the pages from Canva and upload them to your printer of choice.
Yes, you can use this template with a free Canva account. If you wish to use premium Canva features not included in the free version, you can upgrade your account, but you won't need to do this to use our template.
Once you select your photos and complete the Blueprint workbook, if you decide you don't want to use the template to create the album yourself, Capture Your Photos is happy to create the album for you. Information on our design and print services can be found in the Blueprint under 'Creating and Printing Your Story of Us Album'.
That depends. The hardest part will likely be selecting the photos. Once you have the photos selected, the captions are
